Hyde is a Tasmanian Tiger and the most loyal Odd Mob friend. 

He has fond memories of the past when Tasmania was called lutruwita, and the palawa people were the island's only humans. He talks about the old times and shares tales of daring escapes from hunters. He is rather mysterious.

His friends know he lives somewhere in the ancient forests, but nothing more.
